WHAT WE DO
Here at Second-hand Souls, we’re committed to helping our community. Our project involves us collecting donations of clothes from both us and our previous primary and intermediate schools and then providing them to schools of a lower decile in Wellingtons greater regions. We are doing this because we want to use this project as an opportunity to serve our community as well as this, we understand that we are improving our sustainability by not wasting clothing.
SPEAKING TO STUDENTS
Here at Second-hand Souls, we believe that we can go both ways with helping our community. Not only can we provide children living beneath the poverty line, but we also aim to inform the students of the primary schools that we are collecting donations from. We will do this by speaking to them or sending the school an email to discuss why it is important that the children bring in the clothes and how the clothes will help. We want to do this to ensure that the students understand how they are helping the community.
